A nice wedding gift for my husband to be?
i don't want the usual cuff-links rubbish something personal but not too expensive as the wedding has left us a Little skint.
I want to get him something as it's traditional to get the best man to pass on the gift on the morning of the wedding. Also because I can!!!!!!

Something like a handkerchief that says "Meet you at the alter" our a zippo lighter if he smokes. Anything really that can be engraved or embroidered on.
A watch? Timeless and all that

Why do you have to get your husband something? The best gift you can give him is watching you walk down the isle.
I know this sounds weird, but I am giving my husband-to-be a pocket compass. I wanted to get something meaningful, rather than just a regular gift that he would like. I thought about a watch, but he has one that he loves and wears every day.
In my case, I asked his aunt, who said that she remembered that he loved this pocket compass that was given to his grandfather when he was alive. I got to thinking that it could be pretty symbolic for beginning a life together! I’m going to engrave the cover with a quote….something about how though we don’t know where live will take us, we will always travel it together.
Here is one, but it’s a little pricey (and currently on backorder):

Here are some cheaper open-face or desk compasses:

Good luck, I hope you will find something he loves!
a romance night in a nice hotel.
I’m actually thinking about getting my fiance a pair of black and white checkered pair of shoes, called Vans. I made a compromise with him that if he wore dress shoes for the ceremony with his tux, that I would have no problem with him wearing his Vans for the reception. The pair he currently has are a bit dirty, so I figured why not! It’s different, but I think he’ll like it.
You could do something that your husband to be will love, but just know that the best gift you can give him is your love! Hope you have a wonderful wedding day!
How about his very own song? http://www.Give-A-Song.com use the details you give them to record a unique song onto CD or MP3. A truly special gift.
