Groomsmen Gifts? Help Needed!?
My fiance is having a hard time thinking of what to get his groomsmen, and he doesn't want to get them anything like engraved pocket watches or cuff links. What are some gifts any groomsmen out there that you have gotten that you actually liked and enjoyed? Or any brides, what did your groom give his groomsmen that you think worked out well?
Please let me know, we want to get them something good that they won't toss in a drawer somewhere and forget about.

I’m reading one of many wedding books at the moment. lol Called ’21st Century Bride’.
This book suggests:
Underwear with ‘best man’ or ‘groomsman’ on them.
Tickets to an event.
Bottle of port or wine to be let age by the groomsman until your 5th, 10th or 15th wedding anniversary.
A golf lesson with a pro at a nice golf course.
A ‘chill out box’ incuding wine, cigar, their favourite CD… some other manly stuff.
The last of my sisters to get married gave their groomsmen gift boxes like the latter with similar stuff in them.
At least you would know that the gifts would be used… but I guess it not very lasting.
I’d try thinking about things that they individually really love and finding something you could give them to do with that… it would be more personal.
Or maybe plan a boys weekend away or a special event like a concert for the groom and the groomsmen to go to together after the honeymoon.
I hope I’ve been of some help… Good luck, hope your wedding is wonderful
My cousin gave out engraved beer mugs to his groomsmen. I’ve also seen shotglasses, etc.
If all else fails, buy them strippers!
J/K!
I got mine whiskey flasks, we had fun drinking from them at the reception.
A bottle of their favorite alcohol, emergency road kit, gift cards for Lowes/Home Depot/Sears/Restaurant, tickets to a sporting event for a few weeks after the wedding (where they all go to the same game, groom included).
My sister’s hubby gave his guys football Jerseys of their favorite team, they thought that was really cool. They were good ones not some cheapos.
I think something useful is always better than something ceremonial (the engraved items, etc.).
As some have mentioned above, I think sports gifts are fun - hats, shirts, jerseys, etc. for their favorite teams (or again, tickets if you can afford that). My friend’s husband got his groomsmen all gift cards to a local liquor store, and for those who didn’t drink or were from out of town, gift cards to Home Depot.
Remember that the gifts don’t all have to be the same - they can each get something based on their own lifestyle/hobbies, etc.
i think we’re past the point where you have to get the groomsmen all the same gift, it’s hard and just adds stress to the groom. have your groom set a limit of how much he wants to spend on each man, and then find them gifts specific to them. ie. if one of the groomsmen loves skiing, buy him a seasno lift pass to a local ski area. or tickets to a baseball game, etc.
Groomsmen are not as fussy as Bridesmaids thank goodness! get them something useful. Options: Swiss knives, electric shavers, spare cellphone batteries, flash drives (for techies), mousepad with character or favorite team logo etc..
Well my husband is big into hunting and so were all of his groomsmen except for my brother. So he got really nice duck calls made and engraved for the hunters and now they use them everytime they go duck hunting! And he got my brother a really nice engraved flask which he also uses
Just get them somthing you think they will USE and ENJOY! Good luck and I hope this helps!
a nice scotch will done
My fiance got his groomsmen Swiss army knives. One really likes them and the other is into stuff like that. He’s getting the ushers gift cards. Two are still in high school, so the traditional gifts wouldn’t work for them. He’s going to tailor the gift cards to the person, but I know 2 or 3 of them will be to Dick’s Sporting Goods. Gift cards can be impersonal, but by tailoring it to the store, it adds the personal dimension to it. Plus, since people have different tastes, it is much easier to let them choose something they like. I’m not sure every guy in your wedding party wants a gift with your wedding date on it. Tailor each gift to the individual and it will be a hit!
silver zippo lighters if they smoke,
shot glasses, beer mugs if they drink,
golf ball sets if they gulf,
find out what kind of things the guys enjoy then go from there.
Most men aren’t to picky, as long as its not pink with lace it will be fine.
My wife and I got each one a small bottle of cologne and a nice little gift set that included a tie, a watch, a nice pen and I think sunglasses. They were really nice sets, they all matched but were all unique, great deal at Value City.
