I have a pair of 18K? cuff links marked BOUCHERON PARIS. I need info please–?

These cuffs are marked with the eagle head & would be a great investment is solid. A quick search said that this hallmark is the most common one for French 18K. My question is this: Can they be plated or does this hallmark indicate 18k solid gold only? Also each cuff link is stamped with 2 of these eagle heads---any significance? Thank you for your time.

This is not a plating be careful. I repeat not a plating. 18K is a high gold content that is not used as much. Gold is running at a high rate right now. You might want to keep them if you can afford to. Gold is something more stable right now. You could easily get scammed. I do not know the jeweler signifigance. Right now melt value is more and 14K is the standard for most jewelry. 24 is pure gold. Do not get scammed. This may be designer and have a higher value due to what it is, but I do not know.

After seeing the link that the other guy provided it looks like if you did want to sell it. This would be the stuff of auction house like sotherbees or a really high end type place. Please be careful this looks like big time stuff and the design is a big part of the value. Please look into care and keep it from getting scratched or stolen. You have something really special.

You might want to look into a safety deposit box at a really good bank, but do not take it to work and get your purse stolen like my friend or forget to pay your bill at the bank because then it belongs to the bank.
